New family pet

Okay, so normally when people tell kids to go play in the street, it sounds kind of mean, right?  Well, not down here.  They really mean it.  Meet Leo, our new family pet.  He is the alligator that lives in the lagoon in our backyard (you can just see his head in the center of the bottom picture).  Needless to say, we will not be building a playground in back for the kids anytime soon.

Before I forget, I have to give my Mom (GiGi as she is better known as) a huge thank you and big hug for coming down here for a week and helping us with the kids.  I do not know what we would have done without her help.  The day after she left I was able to get a whole 4 boxes unpacked.  Thanks, Mom!!! 

Home sweet home

Here is the new house!  Tyler had a great time running through it before the mountains of boxes arrived.  I will post some more pictures once we get everything organized.  

Moving Day

Okay, so I am a little behind.  But I thought I would start at the beginning of our new adventure.  We loaded up the moving vans about a week and a half ago and headed south to Florida.  Tyler was a huge help, as you can see from the pictures.  I guess we can add "mover" to his list of career goals.  It can go behind chef and waiter.  

It was hard leaving our family and friends, but we are excited to begin a new chapter in our lives.  I hope this blog will give us a chance to keep you up to date with all of our new adventures.
